Our Story

01 The Problem

Your $300 smart toothbrush can still leave biofilm behind.
It may map your mouth and move thousands of times per minute, but bristles only clean what they touch. A water flosser has the same limit: one narrow jet against a complex surface.
You know what truly clean feels like — that smooth, light feeling after the dentist. And how quickly it fades.
It’s not a discipline problem. It’s a physics problem.
For generations, home care has upgraded the force, not the form. Faster bristles. Stronger jets. Fixed tools chasing a shapeless problem.
To clean what they leave behind, the medium itself has to change.

02 The Inspiration

Professional cleaning feels different because it combines trained hands with precision instruments. Now dentistry is advancing again — through guided biofilm therapy and air polishing: a controlled blend of air, water, and fine powder that reaches where solid instruments end, with less scraping and less pressure.
A particle flow has no fixed shape. It follows yours — along the gumline, between crowded teeth, around brackets and wires. Gently.
That revealed the next step in home oral care: not another tool, but a new medium. And an experience this effective shouldn't be limited to one appointment a year.

03 The Vision

That vision became OCJOY — the fourth generation of clean.
Air-Streaming Technology combines air, water, and enamel-safe micro-particles in one guided flow to flush debris, disrupt buildup, and gently polish — even around braces and sensitive gums.
No technique to master. No collection of tools. Follow the path, and let the flow do the work.
OCJOY doesn’t replace your dentist. It brings your daily three minutes closer to that dentist-clean standard — that just-left-the-chair feeling, every day.
Better oral care should do more, with less effort.
OCJOY. Less effort. Better clean. Every day.

Our Team

OCJOY bridges two worlds that rarely intersect in a single device.

The clinical direction comes from dental PhDs at Sichuan University’s West China School of Stomatology—ranked #1 in mainland China and #10 globally—who know precisely how to protect tooth surfaces daily.

The hardware engineering comes from veterans of DJI, Roborock, Narwal, Beatbot, and EcoFlow: experts in directing pressurized air, water, and powder inside effortless home devices.

Bridging complex science and your bathroom counter is Prof. Qian Zhang of HKUST, who advises OCJOY on turning research-grade health sensing into intuitive consumer hardware.

Two disciplines, merged into one object in your hand every morning. That’s the whole ambition.
